The following exchange between my 4-year-old and I just transpired:

Kid: Do you want a bubblegum lollipop?

Me: No, thank you.

Kid: Really? A bubblegum lollipop?

Me: Yeah, I don’t want one.

Kid: Yoy have to say, “No, thank you”!

Me: I did say that!

Kid: No, you said “Yes, please” like a little baby!

Man, she’s rough!
