The Easter Bunny is a Christian icon, whose roots can be traced to the story of the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazereth on Good Friday. According to the story, Jesus returned 3 days later, hatched from an egg, immaculately laid and lovingly tended by a giant rabbit.
